Teen Leadership

5 Girls. One Team. A Chance to Lead, Serve & Help Other Girls Grow in Their Faith.

The Still Waters Christian Camp Grow Your Faith Retreat Teen Leadership Team is a selective opportunity for high-school-aged girls who love Jesus, are involved in their church and community, and want to use their voice and leadership to help shape an incredible retreat experience for girls ages 10–18.

This team isn't just about promoting a retreat. It's about giving teens a seat at the table.

Teen Leadership Team members will help Still Waters understand what girls their age are experiencing, what they want from a Christian retreat, and how we can better reach and serve the next generation.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for high-school-aged girls who:

  • Are actively involved in their church

  • Are involved in their school and/or community

  • Have a genuine relationship with Christ and desire to grow in their faith

  • Are responsible, dependable, and willing to serve

  • Enjoy encouraging and connecting with other girls

  • Are comfortable participating in photography and social media content

  • Have ideas about how Still Waters can better reach girls their age

  • Want to develop their leadership skills

  • Are excited about helping create an environment where girls can grow closer to Christ

You don't need to be an influencer or have a large social media following. We're looking for girls with character, leadership potential, creativity, and a heart for serving others.

What Will the Teen Leadership Team Do?

1. Help Shape the Retreat

Your voice matters.

Team members will provide feedback and ideas about:

  • Bible studies

  • Worship

  • Small groups

  • Games and activities

  • Retreat themes

  • Discussion topics

  • Merch

  • Social media

  • Programming

  • What makes girls want to attend a Christian retreat

  • How Still Waters can better connect with teens

You'll have the opportunity to help shape Grow Your Faith Retreat and future Still Waters programs.

4. Serve as a Teen Voice for Still Waters

One of the most important responsibilities of the Teen Leadership Team is helping Still Waters understand what girls ages 10–18 actually need and want.

You'll be able to tell us what we're doing well, what we could improve, and what you think would make Still Waters more meaningful to your generation.

We want to listen to you, not just talk to you.

2. Participate in Media Day

Leadership Team members will participate in a special Still Waters Media Day.

Photos and videos may be used for:

  • The Still Waters website

  • Social media

  • Grow Your Faith Retreat marketing

  • Promotional materials

  • Future retreat advertising

Team members will also receive professional photos for their personal use.

5. Encourage Other Girls

Leadership Team members will help create a welcoming, encouraging environment at the retreat.

You'll have opportunities to:

  • Encourage other participants

  • Welcome new girls

  • Participate in group activities

  • Help create a positive atmosphere

  • Be an example of Christ-centered leadership

You don't have to have everything figured out. Leadership isn't about being perfect, it's about being willing to serve.

3. Invite Other Girls

Leadership Team members will help spread the word about Grow Your Faith Retreat by:

  • Sharing retreat information

  • Inviting friends

  • Sharing with their church or youth group

  • Posting Still Waters content

  • Talking about their experience

  • Helping girls who may not otherwise hear about the retreat discover Still Waters

This isn't about becoming a salesperson or constantly posting online. It's about personally inviting other girls into an opportunity to grow in their faith.
